Oberhofer recently released "Gotta Go" on Pitchfork (where it's available as a free download!) -- and this is just the beginning. Rumor has it that a debut LP will be out early next year.
Tacoma, Washington native (now Brooklyn transplant) Brad Oberhofer is only 20 years old, and is already "honing his own brand of bedroom pop," according to a recent press release.
Maybe he sounds familiar to you because along with a three-piece band backing him, he's spent the past year touring with Twin Sister, Sleigh Bells, Neon Indian, and Bear in Heaven.
I'm excited to see where he goes with this chaotic indie pop.
