Why do we like this?
A song like this would normally find a good slot in our Sunday Night Chill series, but when I was offered a premiere, I decided it deserved a little more attention than that.
Nuage is Russian producer by the name of Dmitry Kuzmin, which may seem slightly odd given that his alias is French (Nuage means "Cloud"). But perhaps nationality need hold no real influence here: what's important is the way the music sounds, and in that regard this track's a winner.
Mellow electronic synth, classical influence and a gentle drum-beat: all-in-all the perfect combination for an easy listen.
The song can be found on an LP titled Prints of You, available for download on Bandcamp (via Translation Recordings).
