Why do we like this?

He's recently said he's looking for a "lady friendship group," and it seems that south London's Novelist might be getting in touch with his female side more generally.

His latest track "Girls Around the World" is one which would have been known in the UKG days as a tune for the ladies, with its R&B-influenced melodic sweet-boy sound appealing more to a female listenership  (in theory at least).

It certainly marks a bit of a change of direction for Nov, but he absolutely nails it on the self-produced track, demonstrating his versatility both as an MC and producer. There's no release info as yet, but keep your eyes on Novelist's Twitter for more info
