Melbourne's Northeast Party House released their new single "Stand Tall" last month, and it's been hovering at the top of my list ever since. They're currently finishing up a national tour, which included a stop at Bigsound Live and a support slot for Mystery Jet's Melbourne show.
The five-piece are already renowned for their wild live shows and upbeat indie rock (see previous single "Pascal Cavalier"), but they've taken a serious turn on their new track. Heavier in both sound and theme (see the single's accompanying video below), it's a good indication that they're no one-trick pony.
NEPH have an album scheduled for release in 2013 (which will include both singles), and with tracks like this on it, it's bound to be one to look forward to.
