As you close your eyes and listen to some bands, all you can picture is some dudes playing their hearts out in a garage somewhere in middle America. Making the music that they obviously want, not caring about anything else in the world.
This is exactly the feeling you'll get from Nocturnal Company on their track "Lost Your Way." Nocturnal Company is four guys in the Southwest desert making indie rock as they see fit. Their track "Lost Your Way," off of their self-titled EP, is filled with droning keyboards intermingled with long, drawn-out guitar solos and slowed down jams that help put the mind at ease.
It's like beach rock with a side of jam band, and the result is a tasty post-crazy night snack. Could you expect any less from a band with nocturnal in their name?
You can go download Nocturnal Company's EP over on their Bandcamp for "name your own price." Now whether it was recorded in a garage, that I can't attest to.
