Why do we like this?

It's been a while between drinks for Vancouver-based artist Noble Oak, but this week he returned with the chilled out "Higher."

This is three minutes of joyous, soul soothing electronica in the vein of Washed Out, or Toro Y Moi, with Noble Oak once again hitting the sweet spot between ambient electro and experimental pop.

Writing about the song on his Facebook page the multi-instrumentalist revealed the song is a few years old and just a "little jam for your summers (or winters)."

Hopefully this little teaser means Noble Oak is back in the studio and a hint we can expect new music coming soon.
