Why do we like this?
Canadian shoegazers No Joy have an EP coming out soon that is a three-song continuation of their recent album Wait For Pleasure. It's entitled Pastel and Pass Out, and it is a short but sweet ride.
The tune featured here, "Second Spine," finds singer Jasamine White-Gluz in her finest form, with her whispery vocals dominating the song. The music grows around her slowly as the track progresses, and eventually ends up in a flurry of guitar and percussion. At only three songs, this EP leaves you wanting more, so here's hoping that No Joy return to the studio soon for another proper LP.
