Once upon a time, bands like No Doubt were what summer was all about, and whether or not you liked the direction the band took when Rock Steady came out, they made fun music. If you're old enough, then their track "Hella Good" was probably one of your guilty pleasures. I mean, how can you deny that bass line?
Well, apparently L.A. DJ and producer Dr. Fresch was a fan as well, and has put his own summer revival remix of "Hella Good" together for your listening and dancing pleasure.
Building the track around Gwen Stefani's sultry voice, and even managing to keep that little synth line from the original, Dr. Fresch has smoothed things out with some house-inspired piano and hand-claps. And how could I forget that sax solo!
