Nitetides is an alt-soul outfit from LA, and the release of "Saturn" marks their second offering.
Singer Nailah Middleton says this of the track: "It's a song about letting go and remembering that we all come from a singular source, and that we're all in this together. It's more important than ever for each of us to have a Saturn, a place we can go to get away from all the BS and just be ourselves. A place to be curious, a place to explore, a place to feel and be without feeling judged."
The intro is relatively indulgent, but once the vocals enter the song, it has no trouble whisking you off on the cosmic journey it intended to.
