Why do we like this?
Recounting an exorcism, "Radient Hex" is the absorbingly layered new single from Liverpool buzz band Ninetails. Taken from their soon-to-be released Quite Confidence EP, "Radient Hex" is a flourishing journey through slinky bass lines, soulful saxophone, lush vocals, and eclectic production.
"I wanted to convey a feeling of suspension and anti-gravity, evoking bright, bold washes of color. I imagined moments that were overtly ecstatic juxtaposed with zones of slow-motion and stillness," Jordan Balaber, one third of the band, explains, and he's right on the money.
There is something exotic and tempting about "Radiant Hex" that grabs at you, and I for one can't wait to hear their EP.
