Why do we like this?

Remixing classics seems to be a pretty solid formula, one that Austrian producer Julius Abel seems to have figured out.

Nina Simone's "Blackbird" dates back to 1966, making it nearly as old as my parents. And yet, it manages to stand the test of a modern-day remix treatment surprisingly well. Hats off to Julius.
