Nina Simone Be My Husband (Jeremy Sole Remix)

I first discovered Jeremy Sole's fantastic taste in funky dance music a couple of years ago. His new take on "I Put A Spell On You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins transported me right out of my beautiful New York concrete jungle and into the thick aired, sweet scented, musically charged land of New Orleans. I immediately fell for the man upon first listen. His musical productions shift listeners to a parallel universe that exists in the presence of the mind, but not necessarily the literal presence of self/body in time and space. Not to mention his excellent taste in music across all genres.

This Nina Simone classic suddenly came to life in a whole new way before my eyes and ears. The original marches to a beat of its own, while the remix creates a new marching beat. This song begs to be played in a party setting, where everybody is ready to dance with strangers and clap hands for the love of good sounds.
