Why do we like this?

"Blue Valentine" was Niña's, aka Cat Matthew, first release, and damn was this a great start. 

The song opens with airy, upbeat guitar riffs that layer over each other in a summery harmony. Niña's voice would be the love child of Molly Rankin (from Alvvays) and Lauren Morgan's (from SALES) voices. 

The melody is simple yet effective, embodying the lo-fi, dream pop characteristics that incite the sedation that I deserve after working for the man all day.
