Niles Cooper U Told Me

Maybe it's the sad state of the world, or maybe it's a generation of kids who grew up on Burial, but there's certainly a lot more overtly emotional and sad house music out there these days.

In a charge led by DJ Seinfeld's irrepressible "U," a whole wave of producers have followed, with Danish producer Niles Cooper one of the standout artists among the new movement. 

His track "U Told Me" even shares samples with Burial's "Untrue," but avoids falling into the boring trap of music which does little beyond trying to imitate the London producer, instead re-contextualizing the sounds for a new audience.
