Why do we like this?
Probably the most intense song I've posted in a long-ass time. The original version of "DJ Ease My Mind" wasn't exactly the most upbeat dance song, but this rendition by Twin Shadow is absolutely gut wrenching.
Gone is all the percussion; gone the acceleration toward something grant. All that remains is Niki's voice and the sad, sad guitar of Twin Shadow's George Lewis Jr.
The two bands are about to go on tour together...hopefully this isn't an indication of what the live show will be like. We'd want some fun, dammit!
