Why do we like this?
There's something about eerie '80s synth tunes that strike a chord with me, so upon listening to NightStop's "Under A Killing Moon" it's pretty clear to hear why I'm all about this one.
The rising Finnish producer has crafted a hauntingly vibrant three minutes of pulsating synth-pop that could easily be part of the Drive soundtrack. There are touches of John Carpenter's famous movie themes about this one, with NightStop drawing his inspiration from 1980's cyberpunk movies, video games and pop culture.
The creepy film clip was created by Tommi Niukkanen, with the stop-motion video telling a nocturnal tale of what may or may not happen as we sleep. It's weird.
If you're a fan of this one be sure to check out more of NightStop's work here.
