Why do we like this?

City lovers, beware! The wilderness might sound more appealing after listening to "In The Rural.”

Kitsuné protégés Nightbox have released the teaser track in advance of their upcoming EP, The Panic Sequence (out April 22). I loved "Pyramid," and "In The Rural" is certainly in the same vein, but maybe  a little more sample-heavy. The song maintain's Nightbox's swirling synths, but there is definitely an M83 kind of nostalgia that anchors its core message. The diverse pacing won't leave you feeling too fidgety and who knows, you might be packing your bags soon.

Consider it a summer beat for those who aren’t tropically inclined.
