The luscious tone this London five-piece achieves with acoustic and electric alike is marvelous. There's an aching loneliness to this tune that absolutely kills me, despite the fact they croon "baby I've never felt better" in the chorus.
It's a timeless tale: the wondering and wandering the mind does once you've romantically parted ways with someone. Nostalgia, mystery, and longing are all wrapped up in the initial question: "how've you been in this world since I fell out of yours?"
We may have every possible way on the internet to keep track of people we no longer see in person these days, but I don't think this question will ever lose its meaning. There is even more to what a "Parade" means today, trying to convince the rest of the world -- and ourselves -- we're just fine; never felt better.
