Why do we like this?

Oh oh oh! Goodness! I've been waiting for this ever since Chet Faker changed to Nick Murphy and released "Fear Less." It was an incredibly strong "debut," and so I had little doubt that the follow-up would keep the standard...

That said, when I first kicked off playback on "Stop Me (Stop You)," I was skeptical. It's... aggressive and slightly harsh on the ears, and if it weren't for the fact that I know exactly who is behind the sound, I might not have liked it.

Fortunately I stuck around, because this song goes through some fantastic ebbs and flows along its 8+ minutes of playback.
