Why do we like this?

So, I've had a little more time to listen to Nick Murphy's new EP, and I must say it has yet to really grow on me. Some of it just moves a little bit too slowly without really grabbing me and saying "HEY, PLAY THIS ON REPEAT!".

While I'm not really digging the Kaytranada collab (which ironically was the most eye-grabbing of the lot), I thikn "I'm Ready" does a fairly good job of captivating the listener's attention with that je ne sais quoi that Nick Murphy fka Chet Faker is capable of.
