Why do we like this?
A Letter To My SIbling
Nick Mulvey gives an intimate portrayal of sibling relations and rivalry - all to the backdrop of a blues folk-pop sound.
Nick Mulvey has slowly been showing their narrative prowess and ability to create these intimate soundscapes through lyrics alone. The timbre of their voice is so unique and full of character, it would've been enough to just hear their voice, but on top of all that, they give us a track like "Brother To You" — an intimate warmhearted portrayal of siblingship.
It has that journey folk sound that has been present in the new age of folk indie tracks and it still hasn't outworn its welcome.
