Why do we like this?
I am always one to take interest in sampling, as I am curious to see what someone's interpretation can be on a certain song. In this case, the sample used in the track will probably ring a bell, as it is taken from "Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)" - a big dance hit from the early 90s. Some of you may recognize it from T.I.'s great track "Why You Wanna."
With "Talk To Me," Nick Brewer delivers a track that is perfect for the time of the year. The (deep) house beat and Nick's vocals create a cool mixture of styles, and going with Bibby Bourelly for the chorus is a great choice. It is one of the main reasons this tune is so catchy.
