Sounds like:
Mount Eerie,
No Age
Why do we like this?
I'm loving this new solo release from Canadian Nicholas Krgovich. It's like sweet sounding sadness, paired well with herbal tea and a cigarette. Perfect for yawning the night away.
In case you don't know of Nicholas, he's got quite the project history. He's previously worked with the likes of folk superstar Mount Eerie and 50s girl group Gigi, to name a few. His collaboration background shines through his work; tracks like "My Song" will give you goosebumps with his end-of-recording crooning, while others like "The Loser" and "A Trip To Town" are pure acoustic guitar goodness, reminiscent of an early Destroyer circa Your Blues. Straight up exquisite vocals.
You can purcahse "Who Cares?" off underground indie label Jaz Records. Available also on their Bandcamp.
