Why do we like this?
From live looping performances in the streets and squares of Montreal, to the well-produced sound of "Kicked to the Curb," Nicholas Cangiano has got raw talent that he is honing and perfecting...and we are all for it.
Taking the solo-project in the direction of a fully-realized band, he tells us:
"With this song, in particular, I wanted it to come off as a rock song performed by a band where, as the singer, I can give a more fun and loose vocal performance that can really only be achieved when the vocalist only has to think about singing and grooving with the instrumental."
Across all of his songs, you'll find a smooth vocal performance and lovely guitar work that transports you to the kind of summer day where music spills out of open doors and windows as friends and family move through the house until sunset slows down the day. It's feel-good, it's fun and most importantly it sounds beautiful.
