Why do we like this?
I'm so happy I've figured out where a favorite band of mine, Catwalk, went. Nic Hessler has resurfaced in the form of a self-titled project with his single, "Hearts, Repeating."
This quintessential indie pop song has got all the bells and whistles. With that said, there's also the perfect tinge of psychedelic sounds sprinkled all over. The vocals are sing-along worthy and the guitars encapsulate a classic 60s rock sound. And then there's a drum machine, which ties it all together, making this track ooze so many decades of musical influences in the most tasteful way.
Nic Hessler's debut record, Soft Connections, comes out on March 17!
