Why do we like this?

Saying I love everything Ngaiire creates would be an understatement. She joins the ranks of Jordan Rakei, Hiatus Kaiyote, Hoodlem, and James Chatburn as one of my favorite Australian soul musicians of all time.

The ambient, relatively minimal production in "I Can't Hear God Anymore" serves as a perfect basis to her chillingly poetic lyrics, while she explores both her powerful and more subdued, breathy vocal.

Ngaiire's highly anticipated sophomore album Blastoma will be released on June 10, and she has just announced a national album tour w/ Lanks and Jack Grace as supports.

Keep a look out for what I think is Australia's Beyonce. She's gonna run the world. Soon. Yes.
