After three albums under indie-pop moniker Youth Lagoon, Trevor Powers has announced that he will no longer be releasing music under the name.
Announced via Twitter, Powers alluded to continuing as an artist beyond Youth Lagoon in the official statement, saying that “there is much left to say, but it will not be through youth lagoon.”

Powers has released The Year of Hibernation, Wondrous Bughouse, and just last September, Savage Hills Ballroom, under the pseudonym of Youth Lagoon.
Fans who were planning to catch him on tour needn't fear; Powers will continue to finish his current tour as Youth Lagoon, meaning that his final ever performance under the name will be at Field Day Festival in London on June 11.
