Rapper Waka Flocka has taken to Twitter to claim that disgraced comedian and alleged serial rapist Bill Cosby has been framed.

At 78 years old, Cosby has just been charged in relation to a sexual assault allegation back in 2004, and is currently free on a $1 million bail. It's his first criminal charge in relation to the accusations, despite allegations from more than 50 women who claim to be victims of sexual assault at Cosby's hands.

Waka Flocka seems to believe that the case is a racial issue, not one of, well, allegedly drugging and raping more than 50 women.

His opinion mimics that of comedian Eddie Griffin, who told Vlad TV that "There is a systematic effort to destroy every black male entertainer's image," citing Cosby as "A class act". He went on to cite Kobe Bryant and Michael Jackson as other black men who have been singled out for their behavior.

Conspiracy theories are interesting, and in some cases they may even have merit, but this is beyond ridiculous. Yes, many social, cultural and even celebrity issues certainly do concern the mistreatment of minorities. However, this is one particular case in which the issue has absolutely nothing to do with that. Bill Cosby allegedly raped, assaulted and drugged more than fifty women and he's been getting away with it for more than 50 years. That is the issue at hand.

Cosby will next appear in court on January 14.
