No one was really sure if the Canadian quartet Wolf Parade was officially breaking up or not, but it looks like the confusion is finally over. They've launched the 2016 faces for their website and social media accounts. Check out their new Twitter and Instagram accounts and see for yourself.

Following this cryptic tweet, the band confirms their inevitable return with this statement:

"Hey-o everyone, the hiatus is over! We're very excited to get back on stage together at these residency shows in NYC, Toronto, and London. We'll be playing our favorites from the old albums, of course, as well as a taste or two of some new tunes we've been writing. Hope to see you there! xo, WP."

In an interview with Pitchfork, Spencer Krug revealed how the band eventually pieced up together some time around the last half of 2014. He talked about the individual projects the band was meant to pursue and how each member decided to give Wolf Parade another shot.

Aside from their new shows, Krug's talk about the band's inspired productivity has proven true when a four-piece teaser entitled EP 4 recently showed up on Amazon with nothing but 30-second tracks and the promise of a release date. This is due on the same day of the band's comeback performance at the Bowery Ballroom in New York on May 17.
