Ladies and gentlemen, this is really exciting news. Indie supergroup The Last Shadow Puppets have announced a long, long awaited tour in support of their long, long awaited upcoming album.
The group, comprised of Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, Miles Kane and Simian Mobile Disco producer James Ford recently announced the release of a second album, Everything You've Come To Expect, the follow-up to 2007's debut The Age of the Understatement. They've also just announced that the band has a new member, bassist Zach Dawes of Mini Mansions (for whom Turner featured on 2015 track "Vertigo".)
Fans have long since anticipated a follow-up album, although many believed the group to be dormant, especially considering the immense success that Turner has enjoyed with Arctic Monkeys in the years since LSP's debut.
The band have now taken things one step further, announcing a string of international tour dates, including festival appearances at Coachella, Primavera and Rock Werchter.
A ticket pre-sale will be occurring on Wednesday January 27, and general sales go live on Friday January 29 - join the mailing list for pre-sale access.
Everything You've Come To Expect will be released on April 1 via Domino Records.
