Everything’s coming up roses for The Last Shadow Puppets as they’ve just scored their second Number 1 spot on the Official UK Charts, with Everything You’ve Come to Expect. Chart figures showed 7,000 vinyl copies were sold during its premiere week, and Lukas Graham’s self titled trailing behind.
But there's yet more accolades for Alex Turner as this serves as his seventh consecutive No. 1 album since Arctic Monkeys' debut release back in 2006.
Everything You’ve Come to Expect is TLSP’s second studio LP, a long-awaited follow-up to 2008's The Age of the Understatement. Although the band is but a side project among in amongst Arctic Monkeys, The Rascals and more, their debut album reached almost legendary status, giving its follow-up a hell of a lot to live up to. The 12 tracks that are heavily rock influenced, and fans are clearly loving it - you can read more in our album review.
