The X-Men franchise is probably one of Marvel's most important assets right now. As such, the comic and entertainment giant continues to build up its X-Men projects, this time in the form of a new comic. The X-Men '92 comic book series launched last year, bringing back the team we know and love, but this time set in the '90s.
For its newest issue, Marvel recruited original rockers The Flaming Lips as well as The Toadies to be a part of the storyline. The Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne details that the comic features his band performing a show where the X-Men are running security. I'm curious to see what form of hysteria ensues.
The Toadies also describe how they've been big fans of the franchise since the late-'70s, and how this is a dream come true for them.
