LCD Soundsystem announced today that they will begin their reunion tour this weekend with two surprise shows. The New Yorkers will play shows this Sunday and Monday at Webster Hall.
With Easter being Sunday, the band has billed the show as "LCD Soundsystem will rise from the dead this Easter Sunday at Webster Hall."
The show is being presented by Panorama, the NYC festival the band will be headlining in July. You can see the tweet announcing the shows below.
The only way to get tickets for the shows was via a lottery. But the website now reads, "Due to overwhelming demand, we are no longer accepting lottery registrations." You can still view the site here.
The band is also scheduled to play 12 festivals (so far) across North America and Europe, including Coachella, Primavera Sound, Bonnaroo, T In The Park, and just announced yesterday, Lollapalooza. Make plans to see LCD Soundsystem at a festival near you this summer and see all the dates here.
