SoundCloud has always been the online home to many artists and is still the go-to platform for various music blogs (including us, as you know). It is obviously no secret to music junkies and aspiring artists alike. Unfortunately, not every good voice is blessed with equally good equipment. Uploading low-quality tracks can end up sounding even more painfully low-quality once the craft gets published online.

This is where LANDR comes in. The site, dedicated to music enhancement and digital mastering, boasts its recent partnership with SoundCloud. Through their blog, the latter made a similar gesture in regards to this tie-up:

Driven by the smartest algorithms in the game, LANDR’s all-in-one, drag and drop interface makes mastering your tracks easier than ever. For this partnership, LANDR has created a new format specifically optimized for SoundCloud streaming.

The deal grants SoundCloud members access to a free "Optimized for Soundcloud" option, allowing them to enhance the quality of their songs, making it sound like a professional recording. On the other hand, the LANDR library now accommodates SoundCloud accounts. It automatically masters whatever track the artist is processing while exporting it to their streaming database.

Check out their new interface:

Does this mean more indie music? Drum roll please.
