Birmingham, Alabama is a true up and coming scene for music and arts alike. Sloss Fest 2015 attracted 25,000 local and out of state fans to the city's downtown district to watch their favorite acts perform - the inaugural Sloss Fest of 2015 catapulted the small city into the music festival spotlight. And this year will be no different.
Sloss Fest announced their 2016 lineup through all outlets of social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram,) plus a Youtube video. The announcement video is in a red hue with The Arc's track "Outta My Mind" playing in the background of videos from last year's performances. This year's two-day festival will be at the local Sloss Furnace on July 16 and 17.
The old iron-making blast furnace once again serves as host for Sloss Fest 2016's crazy good lineup, including Ryan Adams, Death Cab for Cutie, The Flaming Lips, Sylvan Esso, Logic, Danny Brown, Grouplove, Fitz & The Tantrums, and Hudson Mohawke.
The two-day general admissions passes ($125) go on sale via the Sloss Fest website on Friday, March 4th at 10 AM CT.
