Melbourne industrial-electronic trio RKDA (pronounced arcadia) has just released their debut EP, CS, with an official launch in Melbourne coming up on May 28.
The trio has been steadily building their presence in the Australian music scene since forming in early 2015, releasing two singles during the year and a taster from their upcoming EP just last month. Their August 2015 single “Spaces” was described by Indie Shuffle’s own news editor Lauren Ziegler as “bending your perception of what Australian electronic music sounds like today.”
CS was written across various continents – including Australia, the US, UK and Japan – and will be the first record released via Riot Expert Records, which is run by former Casual Band Blogger Written Editor Gemma Bastiani.
You can catch RKDA’s first live show of 2016, including the launch of CS, at the Riot Expert Records label launch on May 28 in Shebeen, Melbourne. Fellow Riot Expert Records artist Aeora will also be on the bill. In the meantime, RDKA’s CS is available for immediate digital download, with limited edition vinyl copies.
