Ramble Jon Krohn, better known as RJD2, has just announced his sixth studio album, Dame Fortune. The album follows on from 2013's More Is Than Isn't, and last year's RJD2 x STS, a collaborative release with rapper STS.
The album is littered with musical special guests, including Phonte Coleman, Son Little, Blueprint and Jordan Brown. Listen to the slinky, soulful first single, "Peace of What" below for a teaser of what to expect!
On the new single, RJD2 said in a press release, "When I hear people talk of peace in America, the discrepancy between our words and our actions can get fatiguing. I was trying to reflect the experience of people I know, which often feels like, ‘We're not ACTUALLY trying to do anything about this problem in our country.’"
Dame Fortune comes out on March 25 via the artist's own label RJ's Electrical Connections. The announcement also comes with a full track listing and newly announced North America tour dates:
