Let's be real, The Weeknd takes plenty of photos in and around music studios, so we can't jump to any conclusions about a collaboration between himself and Daft Punk based off of a picture of pair of toys posted to his Instagram:

What can be read into, though, are words coming from the executive VP and head of urban A&R at Republic Records (who Weeknd is signed with), Wendy Goldstein, revealing that the artist has in fact recorded with the helmeted duo. She added, "This is the first time I’ve been involved with an artist who’s going to go and work with them [Daft Punk]."
The songs playlisted below, "Get Lucky" & "Can't Feel My Face," lend an idea of how enormous this pop hit could be. Therefore, it seems the new song that you'll constantly have stuck in your head at the least convenient time is currently in works. Hopefully it will replace previous stalwarts including NSYNC's "Bye, Bye, Bye," "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster the People and Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance."
All of this from a picture of toys, don't you love living in the 21st century?
