Radiohead have recently set up a new company called "Dawnnchoruss Ltd." which hints at a potential new release soon.
The band started the similarly named "Dawn Chorus LLP" in October last year, which led to the tour announcement that saw tickets fly out the window in literally minutes earlier this morning.
If history is anything to go by, fans could be listening to a new Radiohead album sometime soon. The band have made similar moves during their last two album releases, whereby they set up a company first. They then surprise released the albums after already having established companies beforehand to support the albums.
"Ticker Tape Ltd" was set up for their last album, 2011’s "King of Limbs". While "Xurbia Xendless Ltd" was made to support "In Rainbows" back in 2007.
Dating back to October last year guitarist Johnny Greenwood stopped by Russian radio station Silver Radio where he told the hosts that the band’s new album was actually already completed. “We have finished the recording of the new album but we keep reevaluating the work we’ve done,” he said.
The eagerly anticipated ninth record from Radiohead has been rumored to be arriving for a while now, but these two pieces of information are the strongest indicators yet that the album will arrive sometime during this year.
