Last week, we reported that Radiohead are finally set to make a comeback in the live scene, with their first live performances since 2012 taking place at OpenAir St Gallen in Switzerland, Portuguese festival NOS Alive, and neighboring Spanish festival Primavera Sound. Now, those closer to home can rejoice in the news that the legendary five-piece have reportedly been confirmed to perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Osheaga in Montreal and Outside Lands in San Francisco. Confirmed by Consequence of Sound, this is pretty damn incredible news for fans who have long been waiting for the UK act to return to the live circuit.
Lollapalooza kicks off on July 28- 31, while Outside Lands takes off from Aug 5 - 7. It seems like they'll be heading out on a fairly extensive tour, considering the aforementioned Primavera takes place at the start of June, and OpenAir kicks off in late August.
The band have teased fans with their long-awaited ninth album, following the Christmas Day release of their rejected James Bond theme song "Spectre" (listen below,) and the news that they have launched a new company, Dawn Chorus, which is the same move they pulled before dropping their last two albums.
Radiohead last released King of Limbs in 2011. Speaking on behalf of Indie Shuffle, we are collectively obsessed with Thom Yorke and co, so keep an eye on our page as we'll be updating you ASAP with news and new music.
