Thousands of fans have signed a petition to have hip-hop icon and legendary stoner, Snoop Dogg become a full time narrator on the BBC show Planet Earth, narrated by the legendary David Attenborough. 

This petition is in response to Snoop Dogg's recurring segment on Jimmy Kimmel called Plizzanet Earth, in which Snoop Dogg narrates small segments of Planet Earth. Below is a video of one of these segments. 

Snoop has taken notice of the petition, which already boasts more than 40,000 signatures. A frequent user of social media, he's been quick to show his support.

While the petition is unofficial, Kelly Ooton, the starter of the petition, hopes that full episodes of Planet Earth narrated by Snoop Dogg will be a reality in the near future. If Snoop Dogg does become a regular narrator on Planet Earth, their ratings would definitely be "higher."
