There's a new Kendrick Lamar album upon us.

No really, there is.

Titled untitled unmastered, the eight-track release appears to be compiled of tracks that didn't make it to To Pimp A Butterfly, as well as some newer ones.

We've all been wondering if Kendrick's recent live "untitled" performances - as seen at The Grammys and on Jimmy Fallon among others, will see the light of day on record, or if they're forever kept within the confines of the stage (and you know, the Internet,) and it now looks like that question has been answered.

The tracks have names like "untitled 01. 08.19.2014" and "untitled 06.06.30.2014." While it's not currently available to stream (yet,) it has been listed on Spotify, meaning we can expect to hear it pretty damn soon.

The news comes only days after TDE's CEO updated fans on his 2016 and 2017 releases, as well as teasing us with the news that "Ive decided 2 drop a project 1 day this week. I won't say....

A new SZA or Jay Rock track, maybe. Maybe even a new Schoolboy Q EP, sure. We weren't expecting it to be new Kendrick. We certainly weren't expecting it to be a whole new album.
