Mumford & Sons and Against Me! are the newest artists to voice their opinion against North Carolina's House Bill 2. HB2 as it's called, is the new law that requires transgender people to use the bathroom that corresponds to their birth certificate.

Mumford & Sons took to Facebook to voice their frustration.

"As a band that relishes welcoming everyone to our shows and promoting tolerance, we do want to take a stand with the people of North Carolina who this week are shouting loudly against intolerance, fear and discrimination."

Unlike Bruce Springsteen and Ringo Starr, who went ahead and cancelled their shows, Mumford & Sons are taking a more middle finger approach to the whole situation. They will still play their show as scheduled, but will donate the proceeds to their own charitable fund, as well as a local LGBTQ organization.

This issue hits a little closer to home for Laura Jane Grace of Against Me!, who publicly came out as transgender in 2012. She believes that the key isn't to avoid North Carolina, but to make her presence known. She pointed out in a recent interview with Buzzfeed that there are trans people living in North Carolina who can't just pick up and move and she needs to be there for them. Needless to say their show is still on for May 15th and you can buy tickets here.

Grace has said that at the show she will encourage the audience to use gender-neutral bathrooms.
