Since its inaugural year in 2010, Hangout Fest has quickly become one of the biggest summer music festivals in the southern United States. Held annually on the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Hangout attracts major acts from all over the globe, particularly for its appealing beach party atmosphere.

Fitting in with this atmosphere is the Thursday Kickoff party, held the night before the festival officially starts. This year, the Kickoff party begins on May 19, heralding in the festival, taking place May 20-22.

A testament to the increased popularity of Hangout is the stellar festival lineup, which was announced yesterday via social media.

Matt and Kim, Grouplove, and the comedic rap sensation Lil Dicky are set to headline this year’s Kickoff party. They'll be joined by trap lord Baauer, party staretr Big Freedia and plenty more. 

This party sets the stage for this year’s amazing lineup which includes The Weeknd, Florence + The Machine, Panic! At The Disco, Fetty Wap, and X Ambassadors.
