Donald Trump’s attempt to “Make America Great Again!” may have been your source of comedic relief in the 2016 presidential election process, but Mac Miller just addressed every last thought that has seriously crossed your mind whenever Trump said anything, ever.
But let’s start with a brief history on the Trump/Mac Miller feud. Flashing back to 2011, the Pittsburgh rapper debuted his single “Donald Trump” and it received positive reactions from listeners, including Mr. Trump himself. There is even footage of him giving Mac Miller a grand title of being “the new Eminem.” But when the single went platinum, Trump threatened to sue the rapper for royalties over the use of his name. And it all went downhill from there.
Now back to the present, Mac Miller recently appeared on The Nightly Show with Larry Whitmore and delivered an open monologue addressed to Trump. The core message was to “whitesplain” everything wrong with the vying candidate, or as Mac Miller would call him, the “racist son of a bitch”. Let’s just say he left it all on the table.
He kicks off the epic speech with what will go down as a classic: “I fucking hate you, Donald Trump”. Then, continued on by jabbing at the major stunts throughout Trumps campaign – including his denial over knowing what the Klu Klux Klan is – to argue that his main goal appears to be “Make America White Again”, rather than “Great”.
But apparently, the most “messed up” attribute is that Trump might not be entirely evil. What’s that, you say? Well you heard right. Because as Mac Miller subtly believes, "I think you're just such an egomaniacal, attention-thirsty, psychopathic, power-hungry, delusional waste of skin and bones that you'll do, say or allow anything if it means you'll just get one more minute in the limelight."
And to make light of the horrifying possibility of Trump as president, moving to Canada is not on Mac Miller’s agenda. Instead, he’s going to “stay right the fuck” in America to be “be here every day telling the world how much I hate you, how much of a clown you are, and how we as a nation are better than you will ever be as a racist fuckwad of a human." Because apparently, someone would have to do it.
To wrap it all up, Mac Miller declared his love of America and refusal to give it up to a troll like Donald Trump, and concluded with a much needed mic drop.
