Are you a female? Can you sing? Can you play the keyboard? Can you travel the world between April and December of 2016? If yes then you meet the requirements to become M83’s next keyboardist for their 2016 tour, as Morgan Kibby is no longer in the group.
Front man Anthony Gonzalez released a statement through M83’s official website, that included the criteria one must fulfil to be considered for the role. This includes being available to rehearse in Los Angeles in March, the ability to travel and work between April and December, having a valid passport for the next two years, and have no criminal history that could deny you entry in other countries.
The application also requires that entrants submit a video of themselves singing and playing the piano.
Gonzalez previously searched for a musician to join the band in 2011, and the search ended with Jordan Lawlor, who is still a member of the band. So cross-reference your calendar with these tour dates, and see if you’re free to work and travel the world with M83.
M83 have also announced that they are working on new music which will be released later this year.
