Mamby on the Beach is back for it's second year at Oakwood beach on the south side of Chicago. The lineup was revealed today, which we unfortunately have to take with a grain of salt.

The lineup got a whole lot bigger than last year, including Chet Faker, Milky Chance, Lupe Fiasco, Atmosphere, and Tycho. Interestingly, Lupe Fiasco apparently had no idea he was booked to play the festival.

He expressed his confusion on Twitter:

The festival tried to play it off, but Lupe still wasn't having it.

So who knows if Lupe will be there. We'll be sure to update you as we learn more.

Despite the festival being extremely difficult to get to via public transit for anyone living on the north side AND Lupe potentially not playing, it's still worth checking out. The after-movie from last year is pretty dope and nothing beats an outdoor festival in Chicago.

As far as festivals go, this one's pretty reasonable. Two day GA are on sale for $140 after all the fees, while VIP is only about $240. With VIP you get Exclusive Lake Michigan Swimming Access, but unfortunately this is only on a first come first serve basis, since apparently one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world isn't big enough for all the VIPs. Besides that, the AC bathrooms and full premium liquor bar make it worth the extra $100.
