This year Lollapalooza's Chicago iteration sprouted a fourth day and delivered with more non-stop excitement than was even remotely possible to keep up with.

Radiohead's de facto headlining set topped even their legendary outing at the festival in 2008, this was immediately following an extremely wild set from Future that included a guest spot from the second city's own Chance the Rapper. Several festival staples dug deep for unique sets including Haim, who reminisced over seeing Amy Winehouse on the same stage nearly a decade earlier, and Big Grams who turned in possibly their best outing of their festival killers tour. The Last Shadow Puppets opened their set with a cover of David Bowie's Moonage Daydream while Lana Del Rey crooned nearby.

Next year's dates are already set for August 3-7, and are to remain with the four day expansion. We can only hope it brings with it the likes of Gorillaz and Beyonce or acts that felt like omissions this year such as The Strokes and Kanye West.
