Maybe it's to reassure his die-hard fans, maybe it's to say F- you to the haters, but Kid Cudi has revealed that he'll be releasing not one, but two full length albums in 2016.
Last month, Kid Cudi revealed the title for his new album, well now the first of two, called Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin, after teasing fans with two new tracks "All In," and "The Frequency."
Now, Cudi says he's got so much more up his sleeves and promises to "upgrade our minds," this year. According to a string of posts, the first of two albums is finished and in the fine tuning process (and marked for an undisclosed release this summer) after which work can start in earnest on whatever's next.
Of his recent burst of inspiration, Cudi said, "My creative juices have been flowing violently since January and I have committed myself to swimming in the magic and making more heat."
Committed to making more heat, he also revealed that Travis Scott will be joining him as the only official collaboration thus far. Without official release dates or really anything besides Cudi's insistence, we'll have to wait and see.
