That's right, English producer and singer-songwriter James Blake will be releasing The Colour In Anything at midnight GMT. Blake appeared on BBC Radio 1 earlier today with Annie Mac to play new music and make the announcement. The album will serve as a follow up to 2013's Overgrown.
While chatting with Annie Mac today, Blake shared two new songs, "Radio Silence" and "I Need a Forest Fire" which features Justin Vernon, aka Bon Iver. "Radio Silence" begins around the 1:25 mark and the beautiful "I Need a Forest Fire" can be heard at 12:05.
This news comes a week after murals appeared in London and New York that hinted at potential album title and artwork. Blake solidified the type by retweeting photos of the artwork, which was done by Sir Quentin Blake, the illustrator for children's book author Roald Dahl.
Blake has previously shared album tracks "Modern Soul" and "RPG" which features British rapper Trim.
It has been reported for some time that the new album may feature a collaboration with Kanye West. There is no official word on that yet, so we'll have to wait a few more hours to find out!
